1.Tata Power
Tata Power Limited is an Indian electric utility company based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India and is part of the tata group. The core business of the company is to generate, transmit and distribute electricity.
Tata Power, which currently has a presence in 65 cities in India with over 400 charging points now and is to have a footprint in over 100 cities with its Public Charging Network, is targeting setting up an EV charging infrastructure of over 700 charging stations across the country by December 2021.
The locations of our public charging stations are available on our state-of-the-art digital platform the Tata Power EZ Charge app .
The company has tied up with EV makers like MG Motor India, Jaguar Land Rover India and Tata Motors for charging infrastructure.
Tata Power has also recently tied up with the Central Railway Mumbai in association with the UN Environment Program for charging facilities at railway station precincts.
2.NTPC
NTPC Limited, formerly known as National Thermal Power Corporation Limited, is an state government-owned electric utility company. It engaged in the business of generation of electricity and allied activities.
NTPC signed MoUs with Vehicle Aggregators Ola, Lithium, Shuttl, Bikxie, Bounce, Electrie and Zoom Car for development and utilization of public charging infrastructure today. This collaboration with Aggregators, having presence in the entire spectrum of e-mobility across India.

AAI(Airport Authority of India) Signs MoU(Memorandum of Understanding) with NTPC to Set Up Solar Power Plants, EV Charging Stations at Airports.
3.Powergrid
Power Grid Corporation of India Limited owned by Ministry of Power by Government of India, engaged mainly in transmission of bulk power across different states of India.
POWERGRID is currently operating EV charging stations in various cities of India; namely, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Delhi, Gurugram, Faridabad, Manesar, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kozhikode, Jammu and Puducherry. Further, charging stations are under implementation in other cities as well.
POWERGRID EV charging stations (EVCS) are Smart & self-sufficient in nature. In order to facilitate quick top-up of EVs, all the Charging stations have DC Fast Chargers.
POWERGRID is also exploring to establish Battery Charging-cum-Swapping solution for 2-Wheelers & E-Rickshaws/Autos and charging infrastructure for E-Buses etc.

4.IOCL
IOCL- Indian Oil Corporation Of India is an Indian government-owned oil and gas corporation. It is under the ownership of Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. It is also in Aluminium battery manufacturing for EV but has just entered into this segment hence we didn’t talk about it in our Battery Manufacturing blog but it is also in Charging Station for EVs.
To promote alternate fuels the company has added 205 electric vehicle charging station and 27 battery swapping stations.
Overall the company in total has 257 EV charging and 29 battery swapping stations in the country .
The Company has tied up with power suppliers, cab aggregators and auto companies to install EV charging stations & battery-swapping stations at retail outlets and have set up charging facilities at 286 fuel stations .
Chairman of IOCL Shrikant Madhav Vaidya said, "Eventually we intend to become energy company of India and not just be restricted to selling petroleum products. The world is changing. We intend to set up EV charging points and battery swapping stations at our petrol pumps alongside offering auto-LPG and conventional fuels. So it will be a bouquet of offering."
